The idea for 10:PM started while our founder Harrison was dragging a brand new mattress up six flights of stairs in a Sydney apartment building.

Sleeping on a quality mattress was important to Harrison — after all, mattresses had been in his family for 35 years, so he knew exactly what he needed for the best sleep. But why did getting a decent mattress into his apartment have to be so hard? Why couldn’t mattresses in a box be better quality to save all this hassle?

There had to be a better way.

After 10 years of working as a lifeguard on one of the world’s most famous beaches in Sydney, Australia, Harrison set out with a new mission: to give Aussies the best night sleep they deserve, with quality and affordable mattresses made in Australia, delivered right to your door. No stress, no awkward stairwells, no more bad sleep and so started 10:PM.
